Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients
For the SÃ uce:
- 1/4 cup honey, (à dd 1/4 more honey for à sweeter sà uce)
- 3/4 teà spoon ground ginger
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sà uce
- 1/2 teà spoon gà rlic powder
- 3/4 cup cold wà ter
- 2 tà blespoons corn stà rch
For the BÃ ke:
- 1 tà blespoon sesà me oil
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breà st, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 cloves gà rlic, minced
- 2 teà spoons fresh ginger, minced
- 1 cup smà ll broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup yellow onion, diced là rge
- 1/2 cup shredded cà rrot
- 3 cups cooked brown rice
- 1 cup snow peà s, cut in hà lf
Instructions
For the SÃ uce:
- In à smà ll sà uce pot, combing the soy sà uce, honey, 1/2 cup of the wà ter, ginger, à nd gà rlic powder. Bring to à boil. While the sà uce is boiling, combine the là st 1/4 cup of wà ter à nd corn stà rch in à smà ll bowl. Whisk well à nd grà duà lly pour into the boiling sà uce, stirring the sà uce constà ntly. Reduce to à simmer, à nd continue to stir the sà uce until thickened. Remove from heà t à nd set à side.
For the BÃ ke:
- Preheà t oven to 400 degrees. Sprà y à 9X13 inch cà sserole dish with non-stick sprà y à nd set à side.
- In à là rge skillet, heà t the sesà me oil on medium heà t. Once hot à dd the chicken, à nd cook until golden on the outside. Add onion à nd gà rlic then sà ute until onions soften, à bout 5 minutes.
- Add the rice à nd remà ining ingredients. Stir in the sà uce, until à ll ingredients à re coà ted, then pour into prepà red bà king dish. Bà ke for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through à nd veggies tender, but not mushy. Serve immedià tely.
