Cinnamon Biscuits with Honey Butter
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 TBSP baking powder
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup cold butter diced
- 1 cup milk
- cinnamon-sugar mixture
- 1/4 cup softened butter
- 1/3 cup honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Spray a 8" square baking dish with cooking spray.
- Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly using a pastry cutter or a fork. Stir in milk just until moistened.
- Sprinkle additional sugar on a countertop and scrape dough onto sugar. Sprinkle with more sugar and pat down with your hands until it's about a 7" diameter round. Use a glass or biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits, re-shaping the round as necessary to cut additional biscuits. (You'll get 9-11) Transfer biscuits to prepared pan. Sprinkle tops with cinnamon sugar.
